Survey: Key factor keeps Amazon customers returning
The survey conducted by delivery platform provider Convey to 2000 US consumer, provide insight on consumer loyalty based on some factor such as ecological footprint, shipping policies, delivery speed and, and delivery safety (package theft)
The minority of consumers (less than 40%) have a negative view of Amazon in that factor but still make major buys on its site.
Why people still buy:
- Amazon offers the best pricing (49%)
- 42% named Amazon has ’best online shopping experience’ as the reason
- Fast and free shipping is the top reason people shop at Amazon (80%)
- The broad selection of merchandise (69%)
Despite some negative view on amazon, interesting offering and great experience make people still buy on it, this strategy strengthens by broad support from brand, payment, and logistic facilities
